About Us

DroppingSeed Outreach is a non-denominational ministry dedicated to reaching the lost, the hurt, the confused, the forgotten and those who just need a word of hope.  Our primary goal is to publish and promote the Good News of Jesus Christ by "dropping seed."  We do this by means of media, ministry, word of mouth and becoming "living parables."  We beleve that living the life of love as God intended is the greatest way to advertize the Kingdom of Heaven.  This site is designed to give likeminded individuals to promote their ministry, outreach and non-profit free of charge.  Droppingseed.net is a resource for Christians and informational for non-Christians.

History of Seed of Abraham Ministries

Seed of Abraham Ministries is a Non-Denominational Ministry dedicated to preaching the Gospel, reaching the lost and forgotten and "making disciples of all nations." While Minister Montagne McDonald was serving as assistant pastor under Rev. Timothy Leslie at Grace Interdenominational Church, the Lord spoke to Pastor McDonald in a vision of a hand from Heaven pointing down at him and the word "Pastor" echoed in his spirit. God spoke the word not a noun but as a verb. It was a command from God. Disturbed by the vision, Pastor McDonald went to his pastor concerning this command. Pastor Leslie confirmed his call and within one year commissioned Pastor McDonald to begin his journey as Pastor of Seed of Abraham Ministries. The ministry officially began on 4/22/01 at the Margaret Maddox East YMCA at 2624Gallatin Pike in Nashville, TN. The ministry's first home would be in a little daycare room with the congregation consisting of only Pastor McDonald, his wife Connie and two sons Deondre and William. In a short time the Lord has caused growth in membership and in vision. From April 2003 to May of 2004 S.A.M. worshiped in their own church home at 2416 Hyde St. in Nashville and the pastor implemented ministries in the church such as, Daughter's of Ruth (Women's Ministry), Men of Valor (Men's Ministry), DroppingSeed (Youth Ministry) and have opened the doors of the church for outreach programs such as Generation4Jesus (Children's Ministry) and Overcomers (N.A. Meetings). Seed of Abraham Ministries currently worships at 411 Eastboro Drive in West Nashville. The primary goal for Seed of Abraham is to "drop seed" in the lives of our neighbors and neighborhoods that a harvest of souls for the kingdom may blossom. Seed of Abraham is growing and will experience more growth, but in this growth will always bear it's motto, "Equipping You to Impact Your Word."

What We Believe

We believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God without err or contradiction. The Bible is the final word in matters of doctrine, personal integrity and spiritual revelations.

We believe in the death, burial, resurrection and soon return of our Lord Jesus
Christ and that His life was given as propitiation for the sins of the
world.

We believe that there is no other name given among men whereby we must
be saved. (Acts 4:12)

We believe that in order to be saved from the judgment of God and receive the
gift of eternal life, One must repent of sin, (Acts 2:38 and Acts 2:4)not in confession with words only but also in deed, and receive Christ as their personal sacrifice to the Father
.
We believe this constitutes the new birth as recorded in St. John 3:1-8
and must be followed by a life that shows forth fruit (proof) of this new life.

We believe and observe the rite of baptism as an outward show and proclamation of an inward change and that we are commanded to baptize by the authority of the God-head and not by a formula of words used in baptism. (Acts 2:38)

We believe in the unity and oneness of God. This triunity of God is that He is indeed 3 persons (the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) yet one God.

We believe in the baptism of the Spirit of God. With this baptism comes the actual regeneration of the heart of man to show forth fruit in keeping with repentance, thus showing the fruit of the Spirit taught in Galatians 5:22. We believe that with this baptism God gives us gifts in which to give unto His church (prophesy, healing, teaching, preaching, tongues, faith and knowledge).

We believe in the Five-fold ministry of the church as taught in Ephesians 4:11,12. (And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ).

We believe in the doctrine of Election. We believe specifically in the doctrine of Foresight Election. In foresight election, God knew beforehand in the beginning who would accept His sacrifice and thus receive the salvation of God. In "Basic Theology" by Charles Ryrie he says of the doctrine of foresight election, "This makes foreknowledge foresight without any pretemporal elective action on God's part". We believe foreknowledge of our actions did not take away God's elective action for God still made His choice of whether to accept or reject us. With God's predestination of his children shows that before the foundation of the world we we're saved and the destination of the elect is sure and immutable
The VisionThe Vision of Seed of Abraham is larger than the ministry itself. This vision was set by God and given to the visionary Montagne N. McDonald to impact individuals to impact families to impact neighborhoods to impactcities to impact the world. In other words, to "drop seed."  "Drop Seed" - To "drop seed" simply means to show the character, love and will of God to the world.  This concept is taken from the parable of the four soils in Matthew 13.  We are commissioned as the church of God to drop seed wherever we may go.

The mission of the vision is to first evangelize to equip: That is, to share the Light of the Gospel with those who are in darkness. We are to give the Good News of Hope to those who are in despair. As we evangelize we bring those who are willing to partner with this vision in to be equipped to evangelize. Being equipped to evangelize is to train those whom God has delivered to evangelize others in their homes, jobs and communities. We call this"Equipping You to Impact the World." Our goal is to start a cycle of publishing the Gospel throughout the world and to make the Body of Christ aware that we are ALL responsible for the furtherance of the Gospel.  We seek to start a "domino" effect of good will and God's love that will impact the world one heart at a time.

Ministries & Ministries to Come

·                         Daughter's of Ruth - Women's Ministries: This ministry is designed to foster fellowship and a positive female image in our society today.  In this fellowship we seek to mentor our young women and become a place of refuge to seek wisdom concerning issues that impact women today.   We confront these issues in prayer/life coaching meetings for women, conferences, and one-on-one encouragement.  The women’s fellowship also works as an aid to the youth department by giving time and resources that helps in the development of the youth at large.
